The Future Money Makers Youth Investment Club continues to expand its portfolio. The Club's most recent purchase, Jones Apparel Group, is one of the nation's largest domestic marketers of women's clothing and accessories. It's nationally known brands include Jones New York, Rena Rowan, Evan-Picone, Nine West, Easy Spirit, Enzo Angiolini, Bandolino, Ralph Lauren, Polo Jeans and Todd Oldham.

When asked how the members have reacted to the slump in the market following the September 11 tragedy, President, Jason Harris said, "The decline in the value of our portfolio is not very encouraging, but we expect it to recover."

"We know that risk is a part of investing," states Courtney Gilmer, a charter member. "We are investing for the long term. We are confident that the prices will rise over time."

The club holds stock in CISCO, Intel, Microsoft, UPS, Nokia, Home Depot, Federal Express, and General Electric. The members decided to sale their shares in the World Wrestling Federation at their December meeting.
